How well I remember the wedding night of uncle Myril and aunt Polly. Coming from Port Arthur, on a friday night we drove across the Sabine river on highway 8 a mile into Lousiana and stopped at the home of of the Justice of the Peace, Mr James. They said their vows and we went to the home of my Grandparent Scoggins. It was a happy occasion and everyone was glad that Myril folund such a wonderful lady as Polly Bolgiano tol begin a long and prosperous marriage. Polly was most patient and loving to all the Scoggins family. She was a unique person that everyone admired and loved all her days.

I'm not sure how Ms."Polly" and my late mom, Dorothy McKusker met, but I remember her coming to mom's many times for a day of corcheting and fellowship. She always had a sweet smile on her face. She was a good friend of my Mom. When Mom passed we shared some of Mom's crocheted pieces with Ms Polly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. My deepest sympathy Pam McKusker West

Having had MamMaw in the family has long been a good thing. Over 40 yrs!! She would invite my Mom and we kids for a Sunday Dinner and Mom would sit just beaming. She said My MoM told her that "She felt just like family there. And she was happy to be included!" MamMaw, when we lived just blocks apart and the apartments flooding. We evacuated to both my Sisters. That was a stressful time for many but I was taken care of so I talked often with her telling me about some of her life. She gave me some of the history of her and her family. About how she met and wed her husband. Many things too long to list. Needless to say, she was good to me and I tried to repay her kindness. To all the family, I love you very much. Please continue to keep in touch. annacolleen1957@outlook.com
