Peggy Joyce Banks, 74, of Nederland, Texas, passed away March 26, 2016. She was born November 22, 1941, in New Iberia, Louisiana to Otis Joseph Boudreaux and Inez (Romero).
Peggy is survived by her sons, Chris Banks and companion, Stacy Wheeler of Nederland; Damian Banks and husband Carl Holley, Jr.of Houston; daughter, Melanie Henslee and husband Chad of Nederland; grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Bryson, Aliyah, Ethan, Hayden, Hannah and a host of nieces and nephews.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Otis Joseph Boudreaux, and Inez (Romero); sister, Barbara Medbery; brother, Robert Boudreaux.
A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Melancon’s Funeral Home . Father Shane Baxter will be officiating the service and burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
