Mrs. Knight was a huge blessing to me. I think of her and her dear family each year on my wedding anniversary. She helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. She gave up her conference period to teach me Senior English in order to keep me from dropping out of school. She and Mr. Knight opened up their home and hosted my wedding reception there. It was the most kind and generous gift & a huge blessing! I know you are with Jesus today. I am praying God will comfort all of you.

Mrs. Knight was our English teacher 1981 and one of my favourite memories of her was when we were trying to decipher poetry with its meaning and we were all struggling. She brought a record player and played Simon & Garfunkle "I am a Rock" and she broke the song down with its meaning, line by line to show us, and still today when I hear the song I think of her! She was a great teacher with a great sense of humor and truly cared for her students! Rest in Peace! Prayers to all of her family. ðŸ™ðŸ»ðŸ™ðŸ»

I look back at my years at Bishop Byrne as a blessing. Part of that blessing was Mrs. Knight as my English teacher. I will remember her great sense of humor with a huge smile on her face and a willingness to help every student learn. I pray all her good deeds will now be her rewards since being our teacher wasn't easy!!

I cannot remember life before being a friend of Peggys It seems like forever but it's only been around seventy years. Like a fixture Peggy was always there shining brightly. Her "hey gang" enthusiasm tied our youth group of friends together tighter than tight. Through faith and love she rode life above the waves that sunk lesser ships and faced life's challenges with the same enthusiasm. To April, Andrew and Richard stay strong for each other and your families and embrace the faith and love she taught you by example. May the lord bless you and keep you May the lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you May the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace
