Peggy Reneau Rouse

1939 ∼ 2021

Peggy Reneau Rouse, 81, of Port Arthur, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 22, 2021. She fought a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on April 18, 1939 to Earle T. Reneau, Sr.

Peggy loved spending time with her Daddy and tending to her flowers and plants and talking on the phone checking on her family and friends.

She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and member of Proctor Baptist Church.

A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, February 26, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Rick Erwin of Proctor Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be: James Heid, Kevin Reneau, Jennifer Reneau, Jeff Rouse, Bill Hauck and Matt Moore.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Jackie Moore of Groves, TX, and Mandy Quarles Hauck and husband Bill of Athens, TX, stepson, Jeffrey Rouse and wife Misty of Orange, TX, family friend (she loved as a daughter), Patricia Heid and husband James of Sabine Pass, TX, granddaughters, Angie Moore and husband Matt of Groves, TX, and Kristi Rogers and husband Robert of Houston, TX, step grandson, Jacob Rouse of Orange, TX, great granddaughters, Bethany, Lauren, Jazlyn, Brianna and Ashley, brothers, Earl Reneau, Jr. and wife Virginia of Nacogdoches, TX, and Danny Reneau and wife Carolynn of Kirbyville, TX, niece, Bridget Eldridge and husband Mark of Brenham, TX, nephews, Kevin Reneau and wife Lori of Buna, TX, and Keith Reneau and wife Jennifer of Orange, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earle T. Reneau, Sr. and her husband, Jimbo Rouse.
