Stephanie, Perry, Jimmy, Randy, Tommy, & Terry--I just wanted to let you know I was really saddened to learn of Perry's passing. He was truly a good friend to me when I was a young biologist--new to the Murphree Area, duck hunting, airboats, alligator wrestling, white perch fishing, boudain--all those Southeast Texas things. He was encouraging to me, was a joy to work with, and taught me so much. I'll always think of Perry when I think of the marsh. I'm sorry I could not be there today, but my prayers are with you all.
