Pete Pelloat, 68, of Bridge City, Texas passed away April 2, 2018. Pete was born August 3, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Pierre Pelloat and Doris Evelyn Doiron O’Hara. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy for 4 years. Pete worked as a Loan Processor for Key Federal Credit Union for 15 years.
Pete is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kim Nguyen Pelloat of Bridge City; his children, Sarah Barkley and her husband, Nate of Ozark, MO, Aaron Pelloat of Bridge City, Rebekah Smith of Nederland and Thao Hoang of Bridge City; his sisters, Anita Miller of Orange and Bonnie Voegele of Nederland; and his grandchildren, Orion Lewis, Drake Smith, and Flynn Barkley. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Jackie Simon and Barbara Touchette; and his brother, Glenn Pelloat.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
