You inspired young lives way back when . . . playing music in a neighborhood garage, or in a living room - you never knew it. Your quiet strength influenced those same young lives; changed with and by your smile, cheerfulness, and honesty. Thank You - it has been so many years, yet somehow I can still see you sitting across from me leading us all in music and bringing so much innocent fun to everyone on 27th Street and 5th Avenue . . Rest now; your work here is done.

Uncle Pete, who is going to tell me those corny jokes anymore? We will all miss you so much and I know you are in a better place now. We all love you very much.
Helen And Wiley Perry April 4, 2018
Wiley remembers when your father, Brother Wiley and a friend of ours went shrimping. The net got caught in the motor. They were all so sick. Someone came by and towed them in. Wiley was still green 🤢 when he came in several hours later. He never went on a shrimp boat again! My memory is of a sermon he shared in our church one Sunday morning. “God Is the God of today”. I still think of this so often, and I have shared it with many people....the past is gone, and tomorrow has not come, yet. I know he is now dancing on streets of gold. We love you all.
