Philip Dennis Myer, 57, of Orange, TX, passed away at his residence, Monday, July 18, 2016. Philip was born December 9, 1958 in Port Arthur, TX. He is survived by his father, John Myer of Port Arthur, TX; sister, Kristine Cortez and husband Jorge of West Orange, TX; brothers, Ed V. Myer and wife Shirley of Nederland, TX, Mark D. Myer and wife Patricia of Livingston, TX, Timothy T. Myer and wife Nancy of Groves, TX, Matthew G. Myer and wife Loreta of Pflugerville, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was a retired electrician in the construction business. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jeanne “Marty” Myer.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, TX. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.
