Philip John Rogers III, 79, of Nederland, Texas passed away August 11, 2021. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on September 16, 1941 to the late George J. Rogers, Sr. and Mary Myrtle Trahan Rogers. Philip was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.

Those left to cherish Philip’s memory are his wife of 60 years, Page Guillote Rogers of Nederland; his son, Philip J. Rogers and his wife, Lori of LaBelle; his daughters, Paula Anne Payton and her husband, Tony of LaBelle and Penny Sue Connally and her husband, Chris of Austin; his grandchildren, David Manning, Tyler Manning, Brett Rogers and wife Tierany, Brandon Payton, Hannah Frazier and husband Johnny, and Katy Payton; and his sister, Mary Noland of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter Carly Payton; his brother George J. Rogers, Jr.; and his sister Ella Faye Rogers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., Deacon Ivan Watson celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Groves.
