I met Durrell when I was 16. He was best man in my wedding, when I married his best friend, Corky. We saw him every day, during work and play. We rode in jet boats with blown engines even then. He was such a good, honest person. He was very quiet and serious, but could play a prank or two. I always made him his favorite Million Dollar Pie. We lost touch when Corky died, but I was able to meet him and his wife once more in about 2015. Something told me to look his name up today. I was one day late to go to his burial, but I was able to see this beautiful funeral on line. Heaven got a good one. Cathy Yeary Prosperie
