R. N. Tiny Martin, 76, of Port Neches, Texas passed away December 4, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1936 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to the late Newton and Lena Mae Martin. He was a retired electrician, after working for Local 479 of Beaumont for 57 years.Funeral services will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Jerry Fenter officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6th.Tiny is survived by his wife, Mary Martin of Port Neches daughters, Lexy Dianne Barton and husband, James of Port Neches and Melissa Boyd of Big Wells son, James Jimmy Martin of Port Neches sister, Mary Elizabeth Dietze of Granbury grandchildren, Ashley Charlene Boyd of Fort Worth and Caitlin Leanne Boyd of Nederland and greatgrandchild, Averi Reyn Boyd.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
