Ragan Wayne Lanclos, 62, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, joining his Lord and Savior. Born on September 5, 1962, in Port Arthur, Ragan is remembered as a beloved husband, father, Pawpaw, and friend to many. Ragan was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
A proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in 1981, Ragan began his career in sales, dedicating an impressive 40 years to the field. He spent 35 of those years with Giglio Distributing, where he left an indelible mark with his work ethic and dedication.
Ragan had a vibrant personality, known for his kindness and great sense of humor. He was always a joy to be around, drawing others in with his fun-loving spirit. His hobbies reflected his passions; he had a particular love for cars, especially his beloved Corvette, affectionately named the "Silver Bullet." A devoted sports fan, he relished watching Nascar, drag racing, and the Houston Astros, rarely missing a race or game.
His greatest pride came from the beautiful family he built with his loving wife of 42 years, Susie Lanclos. Their love story, which began at Judice's French Market in 1981, blossomed into a lasting and joyful partnership filled with cherished memories. Ragan is survived by his beloved children, Jami BiJeaux and her husband Jared, and Cory Lanclos and his wife Emily. He adored and was especially proud of his cherished grandchildren, Allie BiJeaux, Aubrey BiJeaux, Austin BiJeaux, Hudson Lanclos, and Jackson Lanclos. Ragan also leaves behind his sisters, Roberta Tauzin, Judy Savoy, and Gay Kranic. Ragan also had a special place in his heart for his beloved weenie dogs, especially Missy.
Ragan was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Laura Lanclos, and his brother, Michael Lanclos.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ragan's life during visitation on March 31, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a Rosary at 2:30 PM and a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. These services will be held at Melancon Levingston in Port Neches located at 2001 Nall St, Port Neches, TX 77651. An inurnment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Ragan Wayne Lanclos will be dearly missed by all who knew him and his legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.
