Ralph Braswell, age 90, of Nederland passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his daughter’s residence. He was born on January 15, 1925 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Harper and Cleo Braswell. Ralph worked as an electrician for Likes Lines and served his country honorably in the United States Navy.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Christina Marie “Tina” Lynch and fiancé, Andy Dever of Honey Island, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Paul Stansbury and Shanna Marie Lynch; great-grandson, Kolton Paul Lynch; nephews, Matt Dudley and wife, Lisa and children, Mark Dudley and wife, Doris and children, and James Dudley and wife, Ann Margaret and children; and nieces, Jennifer Dudley Muniz and husband, Joey, and Lisa Dudley Kurtz and husband, Bobby and children. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, KoKo Dudley; and brother, Ed “Smokey” Braswell.

Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
