Ramona Macias Strange, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Heritage House in Groves.
She was born in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico on January 1, 1930 to Miguel Macias Medina and Cenobia Martinez Medina.
Ramona had lived in Port Arthur for 53 years and was a small business owner.
A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a rosary service to be held at 5:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Immaculate Conception-St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Groves with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Ramona was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, James R. Strange and son, Jorge Hernandez.
She is survived by her daughters, Tasha Smith and husband Max of Groves, Texas and Lilia P. Soileau and Kevin Thibodeaux of Groves, Texas and four grandchildren, Joshua J. Soileau, Keaton J. Soileau, Ava M. Soileau and Mila R. Soileau.
