Randall Cloteaux

Randall Cloteaux, 95, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. Randall was born August 10, 1919 in Kaplan, Louisiana to Ulysse and Amanda Clostio. He was a resident of Groves for 70 years and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since 1946. He was a loving father and grandfather. Randall retired in 1981 as a Fire & Safety Inspector from Fina Refinery and was also a member of the O.C.A.W. Local Union. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran and proudly served during World War II. Randall was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Eleanor Hardy Cloteaux; four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include six daughters, Myrna Roy and husband Brent, Karen McCoy and husband Todd, Brenda Dore and husband Ronnie, Tina Gore and husband Will all of Groves, Janet Hollier and husband Gary of Kountze, and Marita Ramirez and husband Greg of Port Arthur; two sons, Randy Cloteaux and wife Lisa of Vidor, and Linn Cloteaux of Groves; sisters, Louise Clostio of Kaplan, LA and Lucille Langlinais of Lafayette, LA; brother, Lawrence Clostio of Abbeville, LA; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Special thanks to all his caregivers.

To entire Cloteaux Family, please accept Doug and I's deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad. He was a special person and such a good friend to Daddy. Those two had such a good time together.
