Randell Dowell Lynn

Randell Dowell Lynn, 73, of Port Neches, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021. Randell was born August 15, 1947 in Dade City, Florida to Ralph Clifton Lynn and Virginia Lee Lovett Lynn. Randell proudly served his country in the United States Army from which he retired after over twenty years of service.

Randell is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Virginia Lynn; brothers, Buddy Lynn and Gene Lynn.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Karen L. Lynn of Port Neches, TX; and their children, Bryan D. Lynn of Bremerton, WA; Trevin R. Lynn of Bremerton, WA; and Tasha L. Manell and her husband, Aaron of Port Neches, TX; grandchildren, Kourtney Lynn, Noah Lynn, Hudson Manell, Ani Manell and Alana Manell.

The family would like to thank the multitude of healthcare workers who cared for Randell during the past six months. Also, thank you to the Johnson family and the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church family for all of their love and support.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the funeral to begin at 6:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home. Interment will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 12:30 p.m., at Houston National Cemetery; 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
