Randy Stuart Reichle

Randy Stuart Reichle, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Nederland, TX on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Randy was born in Port Arthur, TX on September 22, 1950 to Donald Stuart Reichle and Gloria (Dodie) Carlquist Reichle.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Randi Burris and husband Daniel, of Nederland, his daughter, Maribelle Reichle of Nederland, his step-daughter Angela Thier and husband Chuck of Boerne, his step-son Adam McMillan and wife April of Lumberton, and his sister, Stephanie Gallagher and husband Pat of Nederland; his step-grandchildren Charlie, Chance and Chandler Thier and Jarod McMillan; his nephews Jeremy Gallagher and wife, Heather, Brent Gallagher and wife, Cassie, and Drew Gallagher; his great-nieces, Mia Gallagher, Kiley Gallagher, Ava Gallagher and Ella Gallagher. Also surviving are aunts, many cousins and his extended family of longtime and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Abby.

He was Co-Owner of his family’s business, DSR & Associates, with his sister, Stephanie, for 30 years. For 10 years prior to that, he was Vice-President of the company under his father. As an Engineer, his company specialized in the design and rehabilitation of water towers all over Texas. He has been an integral part of almost every tower in the area, with the logos on them being his design work.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 5:00, Chuck Thier officiating. Randy was so comfortable to spend time with, a very unique and talented man. He was a giant for music history especially the local golden triangle offerings.
