Obituary

 

      Randy Thomas Romero, 63, of Port Neches passed away Friday, October 13, 2023. Randy was born on July 2, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas to James and Patricia Romero.

      Randy was a graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and once owned a video store in Nederland. He enjoyed movies, cruising the drag and his pride and joy was his Trans-Am. Randy was a sweet and kindhearted man. After the passing of his father, Randy became a caregiver to his mother, Patricia.

      Randy was preceded in death by his parents, James Ray Romero and Patricia Lola (Hubbard) Romero; and sister, Rhonda Lynn Romero LeBoeuf.

      Those left to cherish Randy’s memory include his brother, Ronald Romero, Sr., and wife, Laurie of Groves; nieces, April Rios and husband Rafael, Amber Farias and husband Rosendo, Amanda Thibeaux and husband Tyler and Alicia Kay LeBoeuf; nephew, Ronald Romero, Jr., and wife Christina; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.

      A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Randy’s Life to begin at 10:00 a.m., at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Sorry for your loss of my very good friend. Randy and I have had lots of fun times laughing and just hanging out cruising the drag with me on his t -tops. He always wanted us to be more than friends but he was just a brother to me. I will miss you my friend .
