Rayford John Comeaux, 69, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Rayford was born August 6, 1947 in Port Neches, Texas to Whitmel Paul Comeaux and Mary Yola Quebedeaux Comeaux. He was a resident of Groves, Texas for the past 3 years and a former resident of Port Neches, Texas and New Iberia, Louisiana. Rayford was a retired Mechanic with Doerle's Quarter Boats and a US Army Veteran. He also loved to work in his garden. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia, Louisiana. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017 with a rosary service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rayford was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kenneth Comeaux and Benny Beadman, first wife, Brenda Fremin Comeaux, son-in-law, Harold "Boo" Broussard, Jr. Surviving relatives include his wife, Pamela Bertrand Comeaux of Groves, Texas; daughter, Michelle Comeaux Broussard of New Iberia, Louisiana; son, Brad Comeaux and his wife Samantha of Groves, Texas; step-children, Brent, Rebecca, Janet, and Josephine Bertrand; grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashley Broussard, Hunter Sanford, Jacob and Ethan Comeaux; great-grandchildren, Lance and Alexson Broussard, and Evan Pinada; nephews and niece, Jed, Jesse, and Juel Comeaux.
