Ray was a great person, a hard worker and dedicated to bring justice for victims of crime. He worked hard at a hard job and never flinched at things that didn't go his way. We worked a lot of hours for no pay back then, and Ray never complained. He was always there, ready to do the job, nor matter what. When adversity struck, which it did a lot of times when we worked together, he shrugged it off and went forward, strong in his belief in his God and his faith.
