RIP Uncle...You taught me so many things every time we were together fishing or hunting or working around your camp. I was too young at the time to appreciate your wisdom. I never realized I was learning so much. I just thought we were going to camp. You were one of a kind and I'm sad you're gone, but I'm happy for being able to have had our times together and for the memories you made for me

There are occasions in life when no words of sympathy seem adequate. I know Uncle Raymond will be missed by everyone. He was always a very special person to me when I was growing up. It makes me smile when I remember all the times he would tease me. He always had time for the children. Although it's difficult today, I hope that looking back on all the great memories will help comfort you. For all of you in the family, and those he touched in his life, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Raymond Daigle, Sr., as citizens of the USA we can not thank you enough for your dedicated service to your country. The combat veterans of your generation paid it forward for all of us to enjoy our freedom. I know you endured unspeakable hardships for all of us. I thank you for that. It is a priceless gift that I cherish. And, Mr. Daigle, thanks for your understanding when us boys were naughty. You could have chosen to make it hard on us, but instead you showed us your tender side and let us off the hook. You are my hero. Scooter, Gary, and the rest of the family, my prayers are with you. Hang in there, the day will come when you will all be reunited.

What a wonderful infectious smile Uncle Raymond always had for me. I will miss his quick wit and loving nature. He reminded me so much of my dad. When watching him or speaking with him I was always reminded how such a strong will was so evident in the Daigles. The end of a generation that will be very hard to re-create and even harder to forget. Love and sympathy to all of his immediate family. He was a very special man.
