Raymond C. Freeman, 90, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, March 26, 2018. Raymond was born October 10, 1927 in Galveston, Texas to Abraham Freeman and Vivian Blasingame Freeman. Raymond was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors Degree. He retired from American Bridge as a draftsman after 25 years of service. Raymond proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zona Freeman; two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Hanks and husband Bobby of Groves; two sons, Dale Freeman and wife Kerry of Beaumont, Wayne Freeman and wife Michelle of Nederland; five grandchildren, Brian Hanks, Gary Hanks, Jenny Freeman, Grant Freeman, and Evan Freeman. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
