Raymond (Butch) Mills

Raymond “Butch” Mills, 80, of Groves, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves, Texas.
Butch was born on April 8, 1943, in Center, Texas to Annie Mae Enmon Mills and Robert (Bob) P. Mills. He grew up in Shelbyville, Texas and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1961. Butch was a retired lineman/electrician for I.B.E.W. Local 390 for many years and retired from Huntsman Chemical in Port Neches. Butch was an amateur photographer since 1970. He loved taking pictures for weddings, graduations and motorcycle events at the Astrodome in Houston and the bike races on Pleasure Island. Butch was also a gun enthusiast. He loved his family dearly and will be missed greatly.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Dorothy Nell Mills of Groves; sons, Don Price of Baytown, Rory Price and his wife Kelly of Friendswood and Damon Mills and his wife Teri of Groves; his sister, Bobby Mills McNeely of Hemphill, Texas; nephew, Corey Raymond Mills of Nederland; grandchildren, Kailey Price, Clay Price, Andrew Price and Zachary Price; great grandchildren, Waylon and Madeline Price, Noah and Abigail Price; finally his grand dog, Chief who is a German Shepherd service dog who he loved dearly.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, and Annie Mae Mills.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at Pedigo Cemetery located at Pedigo Loop Rd (CR 4120), Woodville, TX 75979 under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home.

After the service, the family will have a Luncheon at the family residence located at 818 Pedigo Loop Rd., Woodville, TX 75979 in Honor of Butch Mills.
