Rebecca Ruth England, 75, of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Rebecca was born on November 19, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas to Maurine Geisendorff Menear and Frank Menear. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, housewife and a friend to people from all over. Rebecca loved to be on her computer, especially on Facebook where she loved to chat with people and keep up with family. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres where she was very active with all the church events and organizations. Rebecca enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family who loved her dearly.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Robert E. England, Sr. of Port Acres; sons, Allen McCrory of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Michael McCrory of Madison, Mississippi and Robert England, Jr. of Ruther Glen, Virginia; step-daughter, Amanda Gregory of Pasadena, Texas; step-sons, Gene England, Matthew England and Paul England; sisters, Doris Duhon, Marilyn Wright and Carole Comeaux; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service to Honor the Life of Rebecca Ruth England with be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Private Cremation services will be held at a later date.
