Renate was always full of laughter and fun! She enjoyed life to its fullest. She gave 110% in whatever she may be doing. She never met a stranger and if you were lucky to have met her. You would never forget her and you had a friend for life. She believed in the Grace of God and to hold onto one’s faith through the life storms. For that I have become the individual I am today. Love you mom to the moon and back! I cannot wait till we meet again.

I have shared a relationship with you since the moment I was born. The bond between us is enormous, and though sometimes it wasn't perfect, it's something I could always count on when it felt as if everything else was falling apart. I'm so glad that God in His infinite wisdom allowed me to belong to you, to be your child and your friend. More than anything, I'm so thankful to have been given the honor to love you and call you my mother
