A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, TX, Saturday, August 20, 2011 from noon until 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Briggs Moore. He is survived by his stepson, Wallace Crew and wife, Nancy of Mont Belvieu 2 grandsons of Orange 2 greatgranddaughters of Michigan 4 sisterinlaws 3 brotherinlaws and 3 cousins.
