Richard N. Monteaux, 62, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Richard was born on October 30, 1959 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Martin Monteaux and Cecilia Bevins.

Richard loved to cook. He had a secret spinach dip recipe that was so good, “he took it with him when he went.” Richard enjoyed traveling with his family, going on cruises and dancing. He was considered one of the best two step dancers in Texas by his family and friends. Richard was a kind soul that genuinely loved people and animals, especially his dogs, Sugar and Spice. He never met a stranger and got along with everyone. Richard will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left behind to cherish Richard’s memory are his sister, Darlene Mallet and her husband, Wayne; his brother, Johnny Bevins of Virginia; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Simmons; his parents; and his brother, David Monteaux.
