I had the pleasure and honor of treating Ricky as a patient, it did not take long for him to become a friend. I will miss our talks and his borderline phobia of needles. I really enjoyed my visits with him and he was hands down the best BBQ man I have ever met. Rest well my friend until we meet again.

Dear Justin, Tyler and Kelsey, Your dad was one of the most kind, generous and easy going guys I have had the pleasure of knowing. His friendship was genuine and heartfelt. I have been thinking back to the many many get togethers we shared. Whether it was one of our camping trips, Christmas celebrations, going out dancing, BBQs or just getting together for no other reason than for all of us to just hang out. We used to have some hilarious charade games. I have so many fond memories of your dad during them all. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and always will be. And please take care and if you ever need anything you only need to ask. Love always, Aunt Ginger

Larry, Ricky has gone ahead of us. We have to follow behind. Ricky will look for us one day. There is a song written by Rusty Goodman, "Look For Me For I Will Be There To". It is hard to get over the loss of a brother. Time will ease the pain, but the memory will always be there. My love to your entire family.

Carla, Justin, Tyler, Kelsey, Mrs. Stewart and all of Ricky's family my heart goes out to you on Ricky's passing. You all were such a big part of our lives. Just know that he is in peaceful rest now. "When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence a quiet sadness A longing for one more day one more word one more touch We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We will see you again some day, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. A place where there are no words that mean good-bye." MY DADDY... More than you could ever know, I wish you could hear me saying I love you instead of my typing it here in this obituary. Time is standing still. I want to drive down the road to your house and sit on the deck with you. I want to hear your voice. I want to see you smile at our sweet April Mae playing and making noises. I want to see my phone ring and your picture show up because you're calling me. It's not even been a full day and my heart feels so crushed. I don't want to go the rest of my life without you here. I can only imagine how you must feel right now walking with Jesus, healthy and whole. Knowing this brings me joy in the grief. I love you, Dad. Your Kelsey Girl
