Richard "Dick" Tenner, 91, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dick was born August 7, 1927 in Port Neches, Texas to Amos Tenner and Anna Johnson Tenner. He was a lifelong area resident and a retired Operator at Texaco with 38 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches and a US Navy WWII Veteran. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Curtis Matthys officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Betty Tenner, his sister, Louise Petree, and a brother, Joseph Tenner. Surviving relatives include his daughter, Judy Cooper and husband Rendall of Nederland, Texas; sons, Rocky Tenner and wife Elissa of Port Neches, Texas, Jackie Tenner and wife Regina of Beaumont, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Tara Johnson and husband Travis, Brandi Mitchell and husband Brett, Jeremy Cooper and wife Megan, Kathy Smith and husband James, Jason Tenner, Jake Tenner, Brian Tenner, Derek Tenner, Colleen Tenner and fianc Ryan Jaurequi; and 8 great-grandchildren.
