Rick LaBove age 60, of Nederland passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.Rick was born October 17, 1952 to Ray LaBove and Betty Ledet in Port Arthur where he lived until he moved to Nederland 35 years ago. Rick was an avid golfer and a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He retired as the regional manager for InproSeal after 26 years of service.Memorial services for Rick will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 6:00 PM at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland with Msgr. Bennie Patillo officiating. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 4 PM to 6 PM Tuesday prior to the service at 6 PM.Rick was preceded in death by his father, Ray LaBove. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer mother Betty LaBove of Nederland sons, Brannon LaBove and fiance, Stevie Dake of Nederland, and Ross LaBove and his wife, Morgan of Dallas sister, Rae Lee Chaddrick and her husband Ron, of Orangefield brother, Josh LaBove and his wife Carol of Port Neches. Rick is also survived by his grandchildren, Zoee and Ness LaBove.The family request donations to be made to The First Tee, 425 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, Florida 32092.
