Rita Dorothy Mosley Leger, 91, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Rita was born on February 6, 1926 to the late Giles Hebert and Ella Thibodeaux Hebert in Port Arthur, Texas.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Barbara E. Smith and husband, Jim of Rowlett, Texas and Darlene Guillory and husband, Ray of Groves, Texas; sons, Wendell F. Mosley and wife, Lorraine of Nederland, Texas and Lonnie R. Mosley and wife, Janie of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Gene Geisendorff, Allen Lee Mosley, James Mosley, Jason Mosley, John Mosley, Joshua Mosley, Steven Mosley, Robbie Mosley, Andrea Smith, and Troy Smith; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond F. Hebert and Roy G. Hebert. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Thomas J. Mosley and Simon Leger; sons, Allen Wayne Mosley and Craig Steven Mosley; brother, Stanley J. Hebert and sister, Theresa E. Melancon.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The funeral will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with the burial at Memory Gardens in Nederland.
