Rita Nunez, 99, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Rita was born December 24, 1921 in Milton, Louisiana to Gilbert William Broussard and Clemence Comeaux Broussard.

She was a longtime resident of Port Neches and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

Rita retired from Hampton Furniture Store where she was in sales with 10 years of service.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rufus J. Nunez, daughter, Sandra Collins, brother, James Broussard and sister, Hazel Licatino.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Phyllis Boutte and husband Bill of Port Neches, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
