Robert Dustin Whittaker, 36, of Nederland, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012. He was born July 17, 1975 in Galveston, Texas to Robert Franklin and Jaquelyn Whittaker. He worked in maintenance. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland with Larry Delcambre officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Ave H in Nederland.Robert is survived by his parents daughter, Dacia Whittaker of Nederland sisters, Amy Whittaker Hargrave and husband Tim of Groves and Amber Whittaker of Nederland brother, Joseph Whittaker of Nederland seven nieces and nephews, Issac, Holden, Warren Hargrave, Kinsley, Kennedy Kuchar, Madelyn Smith and Maddox Whittaker several aunts and uncles and beloved girlfriend, Dacquiri Taylor.
