Robert Chapman "R. C." Hancock, Jr., 84, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Heritage House in Groves, Texas. Robert was born September 7, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas to Robert C. Hancock, Sr. and Mary Marie Jarrell Hancock. He was a lifelong area resident and retired business owner of Hancock Pools for over 30 years. Robert proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Carol Hancock; daughter, Terri Hancock; sister, Lou Larcade and brother, Glen Hancock. Survivors include his four sons, Robert Hancock of Groves, Roy Glen Hancock and wife Carol of Alexandria, LA, Randy Hancock and wife Dana of Port Neches, and Rory Hancock and wife Teri of Nederland; brother, Walter Hancock of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Tyler Hancock, Tristen Isbell, Skyler Hancock and Trent Weigand; and great-grandchildren, Reece Weigand, Texan Isbell, Thatcher Isbell, and Rhodes Weigand. Private services are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
