Robert “Bob” Huckaby, 71, of Nederland, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016. Bob was born August 4, 1945 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Ned J. Huckaby and Loretta Jeanise.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ginger Gotreaux Huckaby of Nederland, TX; daughter, Rhonda Griggs and husband Eric of Nederland, TX; sons, Mitch Rhoder of Metarie, LA, Robbie Huckaby and wife Christie of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Ashlie Erdozain, Stefan Griggs, Renata Griggs, Tristan Huckaby, Trinity Huckaby; great-granddaughter, Arden Ehret; and brother, Terry Huckaby of Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ron David Huckaby; and brother, James J. Huckaby.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a burial at Memory Garden’s in Nederland, TX.
