Robert "Bobby" LeBlanc, 79, of LaBelle, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas. Bobby was born October 3, 1931 in Port Arthur, Texas to Henry J. LeBlanc, Sr. and Wilma Burnett LeBlanc. He was a lifelong area resident and worked as the Emergency Management Director with the City of Port Arthur and later retired as the executive director of Pleasure Island Commission. He was also a unique pencil artist and U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Jones and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Josie "Boots" LeBlanc of LaBelle; daughter, Kelly LeBlanc of LaBelle; son, Craig LeBlanc and wife, Lisa of LaBelle; brothers, Henry J. LeBlanc, Jr. of Beaumont and William B. LeBlanc of Spring; grandchildren, Ryan J. Guidry and Megan Guidry. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
