Robert F. Peecher, 91, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

Robert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley Peecher; his daughters, Sharon Evans, Debra Peecher, Lisa Kachel, and Karen Tolley; and his son, Robert A. Peecher; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 1315 S. 27th Street, Nederland, Texas 77627.

Mrs. Peecher and family, My sincere condolences for your loss. Mr. P, as I called him, will forever be remembered as my favorite golf buddy. We had some wonderful laughs and great times at all of the local courses. I think he enjoyed stopping by the fire station and visiting all of us and having a cup of coffee! No one ever got tired of his positive attitude and his enjoyment for life. He was an inspiration to everyone he met. All of you will be in my prayers and please know that he will never be forgotten.
