Above all, Bob doted on his wife, Sherilyn Thompson, to whom he was married for 24 cherished years. Their bond was the heart of his life, a testament to his steadfast devotion and love. Together, they built a blended family rich with warmth and support. Bob was also a loving stepfather to Holly Page and her husband, Morey; Richard Bryant and his wife, Rhonda; Randall Bryant; Roy Bryant and his wife, Loreane; as well as a stepdaughter-in-law, Menchu Bryant. He was a proud patriarch to nineteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren, whose lives he enriched immeasurably.

Bob’s family ties extended lovingly to his nephews—Kerry Thompson, Randy Thompson, and David Thompson—and his niece, Diane Thompson Maines.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Percy and Ruth Thompson; his stepson, Ronald Bryant; and his siblings, Lester Thompson, Trudy Thompson, and George Thompson. These losses marked chapters in a life gracefully lived with resilience and love.
