Robert W. Duhon, 61, of Orange, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Robert was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and businessman. A 1969 graduate of Orangefield High School, he attended college at Lamar University. Robert owned and operated Automatic Transmission Service in Beaumont for 25 years, and served the Southeast Texas community as a respected mechanic. He strived to do the highest quality work and serve his customers with honesty and integrity. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Duhon of Orange daughter, Shambrey Nugent of Lake Jackson and grandchildren, Rob, Clayton and Clancy Nugent, and daughter, Karlie Adams and husband TJ, of Kirbyville. He is also survived by his sisterinlaw Linda Duhon of Weatherford brother, Matt Duhon and wife Kim of Kirbyville sister, Lisa Duhon of Bridge City and brother, Andy Duhon and wife Stasha of Prosper. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty Duhon and his brother, David Duhon.Visitation will be at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, July 19 from 58 pm. He will be interred in a private burial ceremony at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Robert wanted everyone to know that he loved the Lord and wanted people to come to know Him as a result of his life and death.
