Robert Leon Williamson, 80, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Christus Dubuis Hospital. Robert was born May 4, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas to Charles Edgar Williamson and Eulena Cook Williamson. He was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. Robert was an electrician and retired from Gulf Oil. He was also a member of I.B.E.W. Local 390. He was a veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Myrtle Williamson of Port Arthur, TX; three daughters, Ellyn Childs and her husband Garry of Nederland, TX, Susan Pipkin and her husband John of Cypress, TX, and Amy Williamson of Yuba City, CA; two sons, Martin Williamson and his wife Sylvia of Houston, TX, and Phil Williamson of Eugene, OR; one brother, Ed Williamson and his wife Kay of Missouri; grandchildren: Aaron Childs, Tyler Childs and his wife Jacky, Grant Childs, Meredith Childs, Alex Williamson, Lauren Williamson, Brandt Williamson, Caleb Williamson, Emory Pipkin, and Bethany Pipkin. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 4601 Rice Farm Road in Port Arthur with Reverend Duane Srader and Reverend Maxine Williams officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
