Roberta Earline "Cookie" Crane, 76, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Roberta was born February 20, 1943 in Portland, Maine to Leland Gildard and Alta Wilcox Gildard. She was formerly of Vidor, Texas before moving to Port Arthur 10 years ago. Roberta was a retired transportation service driver, and member of Memorial Baptist Church of Port Arthur. Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Welch of Orange; son, Michael Mallett of Austin; sister, Edith Barfield of Georgia; two grandchildren, Kayla Mallett, and Owen Welch. Funeral services are pending with Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

My Mother.....I can not even say how much she meant to me. It is so much. SHE was so so much. She cared so much. She loved so much. She adored her family so very much. She told me every day how much. I can not even say how much I will miss her. It will be every day. I will miss her laughter. her joy, her teasing ways every day. I will miss her deeply every day. I can positively say, she will always be remembered in our hearts.
