Rodney Lee Ewings, 48, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

He was born August 30, 1972 to Bonnalee Taylor Ewings and Kenneth Ewings.

Rodney was employed with Helena Laboratories in the Maintenance Department with over twenty years of service.

A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnalee Taylor Ewings and grandfather, Earl Ewings.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Ewings of Nederland, father, Kenneth Ewings and wife Shebra of Silsbee, grandmother, Dixie Ewings of Woodville, daughters, Danielle Willis and husband Kaleb and Morgan Ewings of Kountze, one brother Kenny Ewings and wife, Christy, niece, Taylor Rose and nephew Connor of Spring Branch, two half-brothers, one half-sister and grandchildren Allie Cat, Val and Samson Blake due in November.

Rodney and i worked together for alot of years in and out of the same department and alot of years with friends he went to school with . So you can only amaging to storys i heard. But the one thing i will always remember is his smile . He will always be a very special friend because we have truly lost a dear friend. His family is in my prayers. Rest in Peace .Patti

I met Rodney about 30 years ago at work. I will always remember his smile. His smile was sunshine that matched his kindness. How Blessed we are that Rodney crossed our paths. I know heavens garden is even Moe Beautiful. Fly high my friend.

Rodney was absolutely one of the finest people I have ever known. Even though I havent seen him in years, can still hear his laugh, he always found the good in most every situation. He was a true friend growing up and I will keep you guys in our prayers.
