I am so very sorry for your loss. I haven't seen or spoken to Danny since graduation in 1970, but I remember him well. We first met in Jr. High. I was a little guy & for some strange reason he sort of befriended me, even though we were completely different. He appointed me his "Bodyguard" & said if any little guys came after him, I would have to handle it : ) After Jr. High, I didn't see Danny hardly at all. Then one afternoon, several guys stopped me and started hassling me because I had long hair & was wearing bell bottom pants. About that time, Danny walked out & saw what was going on. He walked right up, put his hand on my shoulder & said, "How you been Larry". He then turned around to the guys and said, "He's a friend of mine, you got a problem with him?" Guess what, suddenly no one had a problem with me at all!!! You've lost a great guy & Heaven just got, One Hell of a Cowboy...

Went to Woodrow Wilson and T.J.and worked at the plant with Danny. Can't help but love the guy. It's all true about him being tuff and ruff. Never had to worry about Danny doing or saying anything behind your back. Me and Eddie and Cesar send our utmost respect and love. Beautiful friend, Beautiful MAN!
