Roger Dale Osborne, born on May 23, 1956, in Nederland, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.
Roger dedicated an impressive 39 years of his life at American Valve and Hydrant, where his commitment to excellence and professionalism left a lasting impact on colleagues and the industry. His industrious spirit and tireless work ethic served as an inspiration for those around him.
A man of many passions, Roger found joy in simple pleasures. Hunting and fishing were not merely hobbies for him; they were cherished activities that allowed him to connect with nature and spend quality time with family and friends. These pursuits reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and his desire to create lasting memories with loved ones.
Roger is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Mary Osborne of Warren; sons, Joshua Osborne of Dayton, Ryan Osborne and his wife Haley of Village Mills, and Jonathan Osborne and his wife Sheila of Lumberton; and step-daughter, Christina Mills of Lumberton. He leaves behind five adoring grandchildren: Haven, Emery, Kyleigh, Kaydence, and Waylon. Roger also shared a close bond with his brothers, Robert Osborne and his wife Dianne of Port Neches, and Troy Osborne and his wife Candi of Hideway, each of whom will remember him fondly.
Throughout his life, Roger was a proud supporter of the March of Dimes, a testament to his compassion and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Osborne and Opal Evelyn Rye Osborne; son, Jacob Osborne; step-daughter, Alicia Mills; granddaughter, Jaci Osborne; sister, Evelyn Osborne; and brother, Michael Osborne. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who continue to honor his legacy.
Visitation will be held on January 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas 77627.
Roger Dale Osborne will be remembered not only for his contributions to his family and career but also for the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
