Roland Angelle, 81, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Roland was born September 16, 1934 in Port Arthur to the late Alton Angelle and Roberta Duhon Angelle. He was a lifelong resident of the Port Arthur area and was a retired auto dealer for over 50 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Melancon’s Funeral with a rosary at 5:00p.m.
Roland is survived by his wife, Billie Angelle of Port Arthur; his daughters, Cheryl Davis and her husband, Mark of Lake Jackson and Melissa Elton and her husband, John of Santa Fe; his son, Glen Angelle and his wife, Susan of Beaumont; his sister, Alberta Jinks of Port Neches. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Carissa Story, Spencer Davis, Brian Davis, Alyse Angelle, Caitlyn Angelle, Austin Angelle, Cody Bonvillion, Haley Turgeon, and Tanner Jorgensen, and six great-grandchildren.
