Roland Henry Bailey

Roland Henry Bailey, 90, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home. Roland was born April 13, 1926 in Nederland, Texas to William Henry Bailey and Alice Bordes Bailey. He was a lifelong area resident and a retired B.F. Goodrich Sheet Metal Worker with 38 years of service. Roland was a member of First Baptist Church Port Neches, Port Neches VFW Post #4820, and was also a WWII US Navy Veteran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Dustin Guidry officiating and Reverend Rob Jones assisting. Military Graveside Rites to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Roland was preceded in death by his grandson, Raymond Bailey. Surviving relatives include his wife of 64 years, Ruth Bailey; daughter, Janice Fancher and her husband David; son, Raymond Bailey and his wife Yolanda; and brother, Reggie Bailey all of Port Neches, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie Lene`, Lt. Commander Brad Fancher and his wife Kristin, Jesilla Jackson and her husband Diek; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
