Roland Larking Wing, 72, of Port Arthur, Texas died Monday, March 8, 2010 at his residence. Roland was born December 24, 1937 in Port Arthur, Texas to Dallas J. Wing and Pearl Daniel Wing. He was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and member of First Baptist Church in Groves. He was a retired carpenter from Carpenters Local #502 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Gravesidel services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial is under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Survivors include his brother, Melvin Wing of Pensacola, Florida; and friend, Michael Crowder.
