Ronnie, Our meeting while by an unfortunate event allowed me the chance to know and become friends with a man I will never forget. The rough, tough appearance people saw from the start was a far cry from the caring, cool, softer guy you were at heart. I'm fortunate I had the opportunity to see both sides at their best. Over the years through the people closest to you and people that have worked with/for you the feelings are common....Everyone I encountered spoke of you with respect, Integrity and friendship but primarily as a man that gets the job done right! These qualities are the qualities men aspire to attain and you are one to remember. Vicky, my prayers to you and your family.

I worked with Ronnie for several years at Motiva. He was always a fun guy to be around, and had a great sense of humor. He always kept things interesting and from getting to serious. I remember him showing up at an offsite Christmas meeting after he went on leave, with a bushy white beard and Santa hat. Everyone got a kick out of that. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hardin family. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time and in the days to come. Sincerely, Nathan Phillips Former Crude & Lubes Engineer

It was an honor to have known you Ronnie, and I enjoyed working with you at Texaco from 1974 at the Filter Building, and through the years until we retired. Your knowledge of the plant and your friendliness with everyone made all of our jobs easier. Rest in peace my friend.
