Ronnie Moore

Ronnie Moore, 36 of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home in Nederland. Ronnie was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 3, 1982 to Michael Moore and Julie Hargrove Moore.

Those left to cherish Ronnie’s memory are his parents, Michael and Julie Moore of Nederland; brothers, Jacob and Kevin Moore of Nederland; grandmother, Linda Hargrove and Gene of Deer Park, Texas; aunts, Sarah Foux and husband, David, Tracy Kolacny and husband, Frank, Barbara Moore, Nancy Matt and husband Clay, and Linda Brenner; uncles, Steve Hargrove and wife, Pam, and Douglas Moore. Ronnie is also survived by numerous cousins and a very special niece, Baylee Jean Melancon and her mother Summer, which he loved with all his heart.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronnie James Hargrove and Walter Moore; and his grandmother, Margaret Moore.

A note from Mom and Dad:

Ronnie loved to fish, be at the Beach, and truly loved his namesake Grandfather, Ronne James Hargrove. Crystal Beach, Texas was like Heaven to him. Ronnie played football in Nederland, starting out at C O Wilson, playing into High School for the Nederland Bulldogs. Football season minus the Dallas Cowboys was a passion for him. Singing with the Nederland High School Choir led Ronnie to begin singing with the Harmony Exporters Barbershop quartet for a short period, traveling to several states for competitions. He loved tutoring children in various subjects and this was very rewarding to him. Ronnie loved God, Family and our Great Country. One of the greatest things in Ronnie’s life was being called Uncle Ronnie by the one and only Baylee Jean Melancon. Ronnie truly loved this child from God. Ronnie had such a beautiful spirit and heart and he was always ready to help where needed. A great void is now present in this world now that Ronnie is gone. God has called a great man home. Our Son, we love and miss you, till we meet again. Love, Mom and Dad…

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Jordan Rogers, officiant.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Ronnie’s honor to the Epilepsy Foundation Southeast, 2401 Fountain View Drive #900, Houston, Texas. 77057.

I went to school with Ronnie since C.O.Wilson. We played football together. We didn't always see eye to eye , but inside he was a nice person. The few times he let his guard down, you could tell , and it is a shame to see him go.

My big brother did alot for our family and although I never told him thank you as much as I should, it never went unnoticed. He helped us all out so much. Wish we could of did more and went fishing and did other things alot more, but I was always scared because of your epilepsy or just going to do things with my brother, because we argued alot like brothers do, now I won't get that chance. I know my daughter loved being around her uncle Ronnie. She loved playing with you and coloring, or counting coins with you. She just loved the attention you gave her. I'm sad your gone but thankful your in heaven now, free from seizures, depression, anxiety, and finally able to just always smile and see with your eyes what we can't see down here. I bet it's so amazing up there tour just always joyful. Watch over all of us until we all meet again.

Ronnie you will be missed so very much! I loved you very much I know our lives weren’t always close but I knew if you needed me you could call me. I’m so sorry that I let the years go by and got busy with life and we weren’t close. I will always think of you and I have always remembered the times when you and Angie was little. Angie was always trying to take your stuff from you when y’all was little, but you would give in to her sassy self. You will always be the best of the best always willing to help anyone! I know your grandmother and both of your grandfathers along with many aunts and uncles was waiting for you at the pearly gates of heaven right along with God himself!! You are home now whole again and I know you gained your wings the moment you got there. I love and miss you and will meet again one day. Fly high Ronnie you will forever be our angel :blue_heart::blue_heart::blue_heart: love you Aunt Nan

My brother would always live watching fast in the furious, all the movies. Ronnie has always liked fishing. He has me beat with catching the bigger fish til the day before he passed I caught a 5' gar. Even though he hasn't fished in the past few years every time is bring fish home an didn't feel like cleaning them he sure wanted to make extra cash an charge me to clean them for me. You really loved my cousin Josh Nini an love his niece baylee. I've watch him in the past few months start getting out the house going to the neighbors an helping them with things. Bringing elderly ladies trash can out for them cutting they're grass ect. He always wanted to hustle up extra money. He really did love being called Uncle Ronnie as I love being called Uncle Jacob from our sweet niece. Ronnie you will truly be missed, love your brother Jacob. In the past few months I've told him I love him eye to eye
