Rosa Mae Miller

Rosa Mae Miller, 84, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Christus St. Mary Hospital. Rosa Mae was born May 16, 1926 in Church Point, Louisiana to Ovey Hanks and Madora Morvant Hanks. She was a homemaker and resident of Port Arthur for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Harris Miller; daughter, Barbara Powell; sister, Leatha Breaux; brothers Harry, Ozemae, and Ashton Hanks. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Gallet and husband, Donald of Port Arthur, TX; sister, Evelyn Cormier of Sulphur, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Melanie Credeur and husband Danny, Melissa Pena and husband Roel, Randal Gallet and wife, Gina; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Istre Cemetery in Morse, Louisiana. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. with a Rosary Services at 6:00p.m.at the funeral home.
